ANTIQUE IVORY VICTORIAN ART DECO CARVED FLORAL BRACELET

ABSOLUTELY EXQUISITE RARE ANTIQUE IVORY VICTORIAN - DECO, circa 1900-20’s, AMAZING CARVED FLORAL ROSE GARDEN BANGLE BRACELET. The piece is a stunning example of Antique Victorian Period genuine carved Ivory and I do not think that I have ever seen one quite as lovely and well preserved as this example. It dates somewhere around the early part of the last century, late Victorian to early ART DECO Period. It has beautiful carving or Flowers and Leaves with realistic detail that makes it a piece of wearable art. The design completely encircles the bangle with beautiful relief. This calls for skilled workmanship and many were crushed, cracked or broken over the years, especially being worn around the wrist. The bracelet measures about ¾ inch wide. The interior diameter of the opening is about 2 ½ inches from side to side. The circumference of the opening is about 7 ¾ inches around. A wonderful vintage treasure.
