ABSOLUTELY EXCEPTIONAL ANTIQUE EARRINGS VINTAGE VICTORIAN ETRUSCAN GOLD IN SOLID 14K. Although beautiful in the photos, they do not do justice to the beautiful detailing or the rich beautiful quality of these estate finds. Each earring measures about 1 5/8 inches long by about ¾ inch wide…most impressive indeed. They are designed in a classic Victorian design with Etruscan Gold detailing executed in solid 14K yellow Gold. The Victorians were enchanted by antiquity and drew techniques and motifs from Ancient Greek and Roman artistry to incorporate into their jewels. The earrings have such a wonderful presence as they dangle and move on the ear. They have post backings with an additional clip for support. If you have un-pierced ears, you could simply have the post removed. It is estimated that these date somewhere around 1930 to 1940’s Period and are in wonderful estate condition. A most incredible find that will never be seen again once they are sold.
