ANTIQUE ART DECO Lg MABE PEARL DIAMOND PLATINUM RING

A wonderful example of a glorious art deco ring. The center of this gorgeous ring holds an impressive genuine Mabe Pearl, about 18mm in diameter. The luster and glow is breathtaking and the size is most impressive. On one side there is an Art Deco stylized bow motif adorned with sparkling genuine Diamonds, Ten (10) white Diamonds in all. The setting is equally spectacular composed of solid Palladium, a pure metal in the PLATINUM family. This is the only other purely white metal used in fine jewelry and was very popular at the end of the Art Deco Period. Please notice the exceptional detailing on the underside of the setting with fine filigree detail and a floral design at its center...detailing that you just do not see today (the photo does not do justice to the workmanship in the setting). Overall the ring measures about 7/8 inch long by about 13/16 inch wide and is in beautiful estate condition. Ring Size (approximately 7 3/4 and could be resized by your local jeweler or ask me about possibly using mine before shipping). circa 1950.
