truly gorgeous Antique Victorian, circa 1860, Australian Opal Ring with Seed Pearls in 14K Rose Gold. This lovely antique ring holds two goregous original Australian Opals, each measuring about 4mm in diameter. These beautiful gems came from mines long since closed and you simply cannot buy this quality today. These stones show natural colors of vibrant peacock green, yellow, blue-violets and show color from every direction that you turn them in. Adorning the two ends of the setting are two genuine Seed Pearls, a signature of Victorian design. The setting is exquisite with its chased designs on the sides that perfectly set off the beauty of the opals. The setting is composed of solid 14K Gold with a bit of a Victorian Rose hue and is hallmarked with an A and a Star. The entire ring measures about 1/2 inch long by about 3/4 inch wide and is in beautiful estate condition without damage to the Opals. This example must have been lovingly cared for as when these appear on the market they are rarely seen without damage. A lovely ring for your collection or a very sentimental wedding ring idea.
