An Exceptional Antique Australian Opal Ring, Victorian mid 19th Century with Rose Cut Diamonds in 14K Ornate Rose Gold Setting. This is a truly wonderful find in this beautiful original condition. The center of the ring holds an Australian Opal gemstone measuring about 9 x 13mm oval. It displays beautiful shades of peacock green, blues, and purple hues in the light which remind me a the shades that you find in butterfly wing. There are Six (6) original Victorian Rose Cut Diamonds surrounding the opal, each about 2.5mm in diameter. The setting is superb on this antique ring composed of solid 14K Gold with a Victorian Rose Hue. It has stunning Victorian detailing on the sides which are in excellent condition with very little wear. Overall the ring measures about just under 3/4 inch long by about 3/4 inch wide. Ring Size: about 5 1/2 (could be resized by your jeweler or ask me about using mine before shipping). A rare and exceptional original Period piece.
