Exquisite Antique Bracelet with Cobalt Blue Enamel with Vintage Crown Motif, late Victorian - Art Deco Period, circa 1920. A wonderful piece of Vintage Enamel Jewelry. The bracelet in composed of 11 repeated links with deep rich Cobalt Blue Enamel and three Gold Crowns upon the design. The bracelet is marked Stockholm on the clasp and was acquired through a local estate collection. It is estimated that it dates circa 1920. The entire bracelet measures about just under ½ inch wide by about 7 3/8 inch long and is in beautiful estate condition. There is one surface nick on one link notice after intense scrutiny as it does not go beneath the solid color layer, mentioned for exteme accuracy as I always do. The setting is composed of a Gold Wash which looks amazing with the rich Cobalt Blue tone of the Enamel. A wonderful treasure with a rich history. |
