Antique Cameo Ring Victorian White Gold Ring Vintage 9

A fine piece of antique jewelry is this rare antique cameo ring, Vintage Victorian to Early Art Deco Period, circa 1900, White Gold Ring. The ring holds a truly remarkable and more rare Hand Carved Hard Stone Cameo with fine detail. Hard stone Cameos are much more difficult to carve than that of shell. Due to this fact they are more scarce as fewer were originally made and are considerably more valuable. The ring is one of those wonderful transitional pieces when Turn-of-the-Century Victorian met ART DECO design. The Cameo measures approximately 7x14mm and cut into a very unusual marquise shape. The setting is just as exquisite as it is fashioned from solid 10K White Gold with a bit of scalloped detailing and openwork. The entire ring measures approximately 5/8 inch long by about 3/4 inch wide and is in beautiful condition. Ring Size: Approximately 8 3/4 (could be resized by your jeweler or ask about the possibility of using mine before shipping).
