Antique Cameo Brooch Vintage European Silver Pendant Marcasite

A Lovely Antique Cameo Brooch, Vintage European Silver Pin - Pendant Necklace Setting with Marcasite, Art Deco, circa 1930. This is such a lovely carving, hand carved from shell, this portrait has such beautiful soft fine features and details such as her flowing hair complete with flower, pearls, and earrings. The carving was done by an artisan in Italy where the finest cameos were carved in the Era. The setting is beautiful 800 European Silver with Marcasite accents that sparkle against the dark antique patina of the silver. The piece can be worn as a brooch - pin, or as a pendant by using the bail at the top with your favorite silver chain. The entire piece measures about 1 3/8 inch long by about 1 1/8 inch wide and is in lovely vintage condition. I left the patina on the silver but if you wanted it shine to a higher shine you could certainly do this.
