A Beautiful Pair of Antique Coral Earrings, Vintage Victorian - Art Deco, circa 1900, Genuine Italian Red Mediterranean Sea Coral. These wonderful earrings hold beautiful genuine (untreated) hand carved Italian Red Coral Beads in a lovely shade of orange. This natural color is becoming so scarce today. Each one of these beads was hand carved, as demonstrated by their slightly individual characteristic shapes. This coral is its natural beautiful salmon-orange color, not dyed like coral commonly found on the market today. The coral is secured to filigreed backings. Each button earring measures approximately just under ¾ inch in diameter and secure to the ear with screw backings, perfect for those with or without pierced ears. The settings are marked STERLING and have their original patina that one only finds in original antique pieces. Estimated to date late Victorian to early Art Deco Period, circa 1900. A wonderful find.
