A Wonderful Antique Enameled Bracelet Bangle, Vintage Chinese Art Deco Period, circa 1920's. The bangle is composed of polychrome enamel in shades of Cobalt Blue, Rose Pink, White and Vibrant Green. The Floral pattern is repeated on both the front and back of the bangle design and the interior is also enameled in solid cobalt blue. It is absolutely gorgeous and in beautiful estate condition. There are no markings on it at all identifying the metal and this is also a good indication that it dates prior to the 1920’s. There are a few minor surface dings (one on front and two on the interior) that do not account for any color loss and mentioned for extreme accuracy as I always do. Overall it measures about ¾ inch wide and about 7 ½ inch in interior circumference. It is hinged to open to slip on the wrist and closes securely. These pieces are very difficult to date and it is estimated that this one dates circa 1920 (+/-), however this is a rough estimate and it came without specific date information so a specific date cannot be guaranteed. A wonderful old piece with beautiful enamel.
