A Superb Pair of Antique Ceylon Sapphire 14K Gold Cufflinks, Vintage Art Deco circa 1920. This wonderful pair of antique cufflinks hold a genuine ceylon blue sapphire at their centers. The sapphires measure about 3.2mm in diameter and have the most gorgeous coloration. The tops of the links are adorned with elaborate Roman key design, popular during the Turn-of-the-last-Century Period. The settings are solid 14K gold and are marked 14K on the backs as well as the maker's mark of triangle atop a half circle. The tops of each cufflink measures about 14mm in diameter. Overall each cufflink measures about 9/16 inch wide by about just under an inch long. They are estimated to date circa 1920, Art Deco period and are in wonderful vintage condition. A rare find.
