A Stunning Antique Platinum Diamond Ring with Ceylon Sapphire, a Lovely Vintage Wedding Ring Selection, circa 1900. This estate ring dates circa 1900 Edwardian to early Art Deco period and holds the most beautiful gemstones. The center of the ring holds a vibrant ceylon blue sapphire gemstones measuring about 3.2mm in diameter. It is surrounded by fine white diamonds, six stones in all, that are old European cut. The antique facets catch the light so beautifully, so much more romantic than modern day stones. The stones are all set in Platinum, as tested, which makes the stones even brighter. The remainder of the setting is solid 14K yellow gold. Overall this ring measures about 7/16 inch long by about 11/16 inch wide from side to side and is in wonderful vintage condition. Ring Size: about 6 1/2 (could be resized by your jeweler or ask me about using mine before shipping). This is a wonderful example of the quality of this period and would make a very sentimental wedding ring idea.
