Antique Wedding Ring Deco Platinum Mounting for Diamond

A gorgeous original Antique Wedding Ring from the 1930's Art Deco Period. This Mounting is solid PLATINUM and will hold an approximate 5.2mm (1/2 carat traditional cut Diamond) or colored gemstone. Additionally it will house 12 smaller accent Diamonds on the sides. You could choose a Diamond or a colored gem for the center such as a Sapphire, Ruby, or Emerald. I am offering this one as a setting as I am asked so often for just settings so that one can design with their own Vintage piece. This is an original Art Deco Period piece and will look stunning with gemstones. It is in beautiful condition with one line on the shank that can be polished when you have your stones set and the shank needs to be soldered when you have it sized. It is currently between a 5 and 5 1/2 and could be resized by a qualified jeweler. Overall it measures about 5/8 inch long by about 3/4 inch wide. These originals are becoming quite scarce and still prove to be quite a bargain compared to contemporary Platinum settings at retail today.
