ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE ANTIQUE ESTATE ART DECO - NOUVEAU, circa 1920’s, AMAZING VIBRANT CEYLON SAPPHIRE & DIAMONDS 14K WHITE GOLD FILIGREE RING. The ring holds a gorgeous vibrant clear sparkling Sapphire gemstone with the most spectacular rich color with incredible sparkle and brilliance. The stone measures approximately 5mm in diameter. The stone is beautifully Set atop a solid 14K White Gold Art Deco setting finished in what appears to be a Platinum or Rhodium finish, most popular in these period pieces. The setting is quite ornate with its gorgeous lines. Set within the setting are Fourteen (14) genuine sparkling White Diamonds, giving this ring extra style and life. You just do not se this type of work being done today, certainly not in the reproductions. The entire ring measures approximately 3/8 inch long by about 3/4 inch wide and is in beautiful estate condition. Judging from the style and estate collection from which this piece came, I would estimate that it dates circa 1920-30’s.
