A Suburb Piece of Antique Victorian Jewelry is this Antique Seed Pearl Necklace in 15ct Gold with Starburst Design, English, circa 1890. This piece is in exceptional original condition and appears to have all original Seed Pearls. The workmanship is just beautiful fashioned from solid rich 15ct Gold. The piece converts from day to night if you wish as the starburst pendant can be removed from the hook in the back and you have the option of wearing it plain or adding another pendant or locket as you wish. Marked 15ct on the reverse, English in origin, estimated to date circa 1890. Overall it measures about 14 3/4 inches long and the pendant portion is about 1 3/8 inches long from top of center to bottom of the drop and about 3/4 inch wide. A gorgeous piece of original Victorian Period Jewelry in wonderful condition.
