A Superb Pair of Vintage Gold Amethyst Earrings in 14K Yellow Gold Repousse, Vintage Art Nouveau - Art Deco Styling. These earrings were a fabulous Estate Jewlery find with amazing presence and styling. They are long, about 1 3/4 inches long by about 3/4 inch wide, and look amazing in the ear. The center of each holds a gorgeous Amethyst Cabochon, measuring about 6 x 8 mm oval. The settings are 14K Yellow Gold detailed Repousse work with scroll and floral pattern. The design reflects the Art Nouveau - Art Deco movement and are wonderful classic pieces. The tops are very sturdy construction with clip style backings that fit securely on the ear. These can be worn by pierced or non-pierced ears. One could also have posts added to the tops if so desired (this is something that my jeweler could do if you do not have one in your area that you trust). It is not often that I come across pieces as beautiful as these. These came from a wonderful estate collection and have some age to them, however exact vintage has not been determined. A most beautiful, heirloom quality, addition to anyone's estate jewelry collection. Sure to please for many years to come.
