A rare find is this Art Nouveau Aquamarine Necklace in 14K Gold, circa 1890 to early Art Deco Period. This wonderful example of rare original Art Nouveau period jewelry holds a lovely genuine aquamarine gemstone at its center with antique faceting that catches the light. The aquamarine measures about 5 x 7 mm oval and has the most beautiful coloration. The dangle drop also holds a round aquamarine gemstone. The setting is beautiful original Art Nouveau hand engraved 14K Gold. The necklace measures about 15 3/4 inch long. The centerpiece is about 1 1/8 inch wide by about 1 1/2 inches long. It is in beautiful antique condition with one small solder point on the back of the drop, mentioned for extreme accuracy as I always do. These original examples are rare as they simply do not survive over the years. This is a particularly beautiful example.
