A Gorgeous Classic Antique Pearl Necklace, Double Strand Vintage Ocean Pearls, Akoya, Art Deco circa 1930-40's. This stunning antique pearl necklace has 128 genuine ocean akoya ocean pearls, each hand knotted between each pearl. One strand is approximately 5mm in diameter and the other is about 6mm. They have beautiful luster and creamy coloration and are in lovely condition. The clasp in antique Silver, very similar to what Mikimoto used at this time, with hand etching and the central pearl. The necklace is about 16 inches in length and even has a safety for added security. It is estimated that they date to the Art Deco period, circa 1930-40's Era (approximation only as they could be older or more contemporary). From a lovely estate collection.
