A Superb Antique Vintage Australian Opal Pearl Bracelet with 14K Gold Clasp, an Exceptional Piece of Fine Estate Jewelry circa 1950. This stunning piece is composed of a 14K yellow gold clasp set with colorful natural Australian opal gemstones. These stones show intense coloration in the light. The center opal is about 5 x 7mm oval and they are all single cut stones, not doublets or triplets. The pearls are genuine cultured akoya pearls measuring about 6.5 to 7mm in diameter. There are seventy five (75) genuine pearls in all. The clasp closes very securely and has an additional safety. Overall the bracelet measures about 7 5/8 inches long when clasped and about 13/16 inch wide. The clasp measures about 1 inch long by about 5/8 inch wide. It is in lovely estate condition. The bracelet is wearable as it is, however the stringing in the center portion is a bit loose and could be easily restrung professionally. One could also shorten the bracelet by having it restrung with a few pearls removed if you require a shorter length. The bracelet was acquired through a fine estate collection and is estimated to date circa 1950. It is truly a gorgeous piece of fine jewelry.
