ABSOLUTELY STUNNING ANTIQUE, c.1890 TO 1900’s, TIFFANY SET MINE CUT DIAMOND RING IN PLATINUM FINISHED WHITE GOLD- WEDDING RING. The center of the ring holds a gorgeous Antique Mine Cut Diamond measuring approximately 3.5mm in diameter. These antique cuts have high facets and generous cuts giving them maximum brilliance unlike any modern stones on the market today. They were actually cut for candle and oil lamp lighting for maximum refection. The Diamonds is beautifully Tiffany Set (not to be confused with the Tiffany and Co. of New York, nor is it implied in this listing) in a solid 14K white Gold setting with a PLATINUM or Rhodium finish . Being Tiffany Set, light enters in through all sides of the settings thus illuminating the Diamonds from all directions. These were acquired through a lovely estate collection and it is estimated that it dates circa 1890 to the early 1900‘s. The entire ring measures just under ¼ inch long by about ¾ inch wide and is in lovely estate condition. There is some wear to the edge of the Diamond, to be expected of an original stone of this age, as spotted when under magnification and only mentioned for accuracy as I always do.
