A gorgeous Antique Diamond Ring with Mine Cut Rubies and Diamonds in a late Georgian - Victorian 14K Rose Gold setting with Chased Detailing. The ring holds a stunning array of Antique Mine Cut Diamonds and Rubies, for a total of approximately .50ctw in the ring. The Diamonds especially have so much sparkle and life. These antique facets are quite deep and generous giving them an incredible look in the light. These facets were originally designed to capture dim candlelight. The Rubies are natural with intense rosey - red coloration, a bit more on the red side than the way that the photos turned out on my computer screen. The setting is original 19th Century late Georgian to Victorian Period, circa 1830 to 1870 estimated date. The setting is 14K Gold with a Victorian Rose hue with hand chased detailing on the sides. This ring would make the most romantic Wedding Ring, Engagement Ring, Wedding Band, or Anniversary Ring. The entire ring measures about 3/8 inch long (from outer Diamond to outer Ruby) by about 3/4 inch wide and is in beautiful condition, especially for this early period.
