A gorgeous pair of Antique Garnet Earrings, Victorian, circa 1830 to 1880's. These are luscious deep rich Bohemian Garnets, treated with Rose Cut faceting giving them plenty of sparkle and life. They have early French lever backs that fasten in the front. The wires are silver and the rest of the settings are low carat Gold, most likely European, late Georgian to Victorian in Era. Original authentic antique earrings like these are becoming quite scarce. This example is in beautiful condition. Each measures about 1 1/8 inch long (with French Wire Top) by about 5/8 inch wide and are in beautiful estate condition.
