The ring holds a breathtaking substantial genuine blue Diamond in its center. It has the most amazing color and beautiful life. The central diamond measures approximately 5mm in diameter (+/-) and it is estimated that there is about .60 carat total in diamond weight in this stunning estate ring. Adorning the four sides of the Filigree detail are Four (4) white Diamonds adding to the exquisite design. This beautiful stone is set atop a gorgeous setting that is composed of solid 14K white gold with what appears to be a PLATINUM or Rhodium finish, quite popular in these pieces. All three sides of the shank have fine Milligrained detailing that runs down almost the entire length of the shank, stopping short about 3/8 inch in the back which leaves a nice area for the jeweler to work with in case you need to have it resized. The entire ring measures approximately 5/16 inch long by about 3/4 inch wide and is in lovely estate condition. This piece was acquired through an estate collection and although executed in an Edwardian - Art Deco style, I believe it is a later piece from the late 20th century.
